I LOVE this sign! I'm an art teacher and have it on my art classroom door. I also have an additional one in my classroom. This isn't a 'rough, textured' license plate. It is a smooth finish, the texture is implied. But that doesn't detract from it. My students really appreciate this sign. They've even started using the word 'weird' in a positive connotation.It hangs very easily. I have used masking tape, which has been plenty. You could also use 3M Command Velcro if you were concerned.
