I used these candles in centerpieces for a dinner party, and they worked fine for my purpose. They are good quality (burned for three hours with minimal meltdown). But buyers should be aware the candles are not solid blue. They are white with a thin, colored wax coating. This was not made clear in the description. When the candle has burned for awhile the white interior emerges.

I do love the color of this candle. Its time to put out my Fall decorations and this pillar candle fits in really nicely with different table arrangements, etc. However, one thing I discovered by accident is that the candle is dipped in whatever color you order. If the candle is damaged (dropped or banged against something), the color will chip off and reveal just a plain white candle underneath. Caution is recommended when handling or moving it.Otherwise, I'm very happy with it.
