Great for sleep

These curtains do a great job at blocking out light and made an immediate difference in the room. Once they were up, the space felt noticeably darker and cooler, which has been awesome for sleeping and early mornings.The fabric is soft and feels nicer than I expected for blackout curtains. They hang well, look clean, and don’t feel stiff or plasticky. excellent blackout curtains at a good price; would buy again

I purchased two sets of curtains several weeks ago. My goal was to make our living room dark as the existing curtains weren't blocking enough light. When they arrived, installation took minutes. It was harder to get the curtain rod down than it was to install the curtains on it.The material is soft enough (it's not a priority for me) and the black lining does a good job of blocking light. They're heavier than the curtains they replaced, but that's the entire point -- big, thick, heavy curtains to block sunlight.I'm very pleased with the results. When we installed the curtain rods initially, we positioned them close to the ceiling so that they were notably higher than the windows. They're also mounted so that the curtain rods are very close to the wall and they extend past the windows by about 5 inches on a side. That is, the window frame is nowhere near the curtains sides, top, or bottom.They are not perfect, but they are as close as I can reasonably expect given the excellent price point. I'm extremely pleased. Closing the curtains in our living room effectively "turns off the sun" in there.Update: I was so pleased with the first two sets that I purchased more for our bedroom. They do an excellent job of making sure the room stays dark, even when the sun comes up way before what's necessary (i.e., mid-summer in the northern hemisphere).I also neglected to mention that they do a very good job of trapping heat that would otherwise seep through the windows and warm our interior.I'm very pleased and would buy again in a heartbeat.

White Blackout Curtains, Double Layer, Full light block

These really are blackout curtains! I have a room that has a lot of south and east sun coming in, and when I close the curtains the light is blocked, and the room cools down. They come wrinkled, but with a steamer the wrinkles go away. They hang well with the grommets, and are easy to pull back and forth. The only negative is that I ordered white, and these are light gray, not white. The length is spot on-as is the width. The value for the money was good, but I wish the white would have been a better match. I don't have gray in this room-but now I do.
