Great motorized shade!

This motorized shade fits perfectly in a window that’s high above the bed and not easily accessible for me to raise and lower the window each day without needing to stand on the bed. Easy to install and the measurements were exactly what I inputted. I love that these curtains are pretty much blackout (except for a small sliver on the edges) so I can sleep in better. It also makes my room cooler in the afternoon. The remote control to raise and lower the shade makes it very convenient, along with the solar charger for the battery since I can’t easily reach the charge port due to the height of the window. The price was also great and a fraction of what I was quoted at another place. The shade was delivered a week earlier than I was told it would be. I will be ordering more for other windows in my home.

Worth it

I thought about whether to get these for a long time, because even though these are cheaper than a lot of others, they’re still a lot of money. I’m really glad I went ahead and got them. They work perfectly and were actually pretty easy to install, although I highly recommend having two people around for installation if any of your shades are very oversized. I measured carefully according to the seller’s instructions, and the shades fit perfectly. The remote works exactly as it’s supposed to (word of warning, as the seller and other reviewers note: you need to buy the battery for the remote separately), and I was able to connect it to a hub (I used Bond) and then to Alexa pretty easily. The shades are not what I would call whisper quiet, but they’re not too loud and I honestly kind of like the sound—it’s fun to watch and hear the shades going up and down while I lounge on the sofa.The seller was very courteous and professional, emailing to double-check that the measurements were correct and responding promptly when I asked for an update on the order. I got my order in somewhere around three weeks from the time I placed the order—they do have to come from China, but truly it was super fast. I did pay extra for expedited shipping, which may have helped. I was also impressed that not only do they include instruction booklets for installation and using the remote, but they also have instructional videos on YouTube. This is a seller that really wants you to like and use the product. And I am! And I do, very much.

Great Fit and Easy Installation. Well Built. But Cannot Connect via Alexa or downloaded app.

I ordered two blinds. I followed the instructions to measure exactly as written and the shades were made exactly correct. I got the optional solar panels, and they work great.I ordered two remote controls, but only one of them controls the blinds. I tried following the instructions but cannot get one of the remotes to pair with the blinds.I'm an IT expert, and specialize in network and cloud, but I still couldn't get my Echo Show 5, (2nd Gen) to discover my blinds. I tried pressing the buttons until the shaded "moved twice", and everything else I could think of.So far they're great but if I can fix the connectivity for one remote and Alexa, these would be five stars.

Great Blinds. Once we got them programmed.

We love the blinds. They look great, are easy to install, easy to integrate into Smart Things. Programming them was a challenge. It took multiple emails, calls to figure out the issue. The remote had the letter "L" next to the number (i.e. L1). I guess "L" means locked. Some (not all) of the programming sequences didn't work until we "unlocked" the remote (held P2 for X seconds, then toggled P2 a few times....not sure what the correct sequence was). After that, everything programmed as expected. Also, reversing thr motor direction was accomplished by holding the reset button for x3 jogs. Other than the programming issues, everything was great. We will be adding more of these blinds to the house.Customer service was quick to respond to questions. WhatsApp had the best support (vs email). They were eventually able to help us solve the issue.

We bought 28 blinds from Yoolax

Our builder left blinds for us to purchase. After getting quotes from Costco’s blind contractors, it quickly became obvious that this would be a huge expense. We purchased the samples from Yoolax, and decided on a design. We ordered one sample and made sure it worked and looked as expected. It was then time to buy 27 more. We got half shading, and full shading versions. We also purchased remotes, the weighted rod and solar panels. The seller was extremely helpful. We communicated through their WhatsApp account. They replied to everything promptly and answered so many questions we had. They helped make sure our order was correct. I never expected such a personal relationship. They sent the blinds on express shipment on the house when I told them we had a deadline and needed blinds installed before a certain day. We had follow up requests for missing hardware and remotes. They immediately fulfilled at no cost to us. The packaging was immaculate. All 28 shades operated as expected. They were extremely easy to install and measurements were spot on on each shade. It was really surprising that nothing went wrong with any of the blinds. We were able to accomplish all this at 1/3 of the cost Costco quoted us. It is hard to find such honest sellers on Amazon. I thought everybody should know this seller is honest and will stand by his word. I am writing this review on my own accord and received no discounts, products or requests from the seller to do so.
