Had no clue how to assemble...frustrating experience.

I didn't realize these faux books required some assembly. Took me over three tries to finally understand how to do that. I looked all over the page I ordered these on, watched their promotional video, read others reviews but still couldn't find how to assemble. You basically need to pop the box open, fold the tabs in, then finally at the end pull the sticky tab off and close the top of the book cover to hold it together. It was frustrating trying to figure this out on my own. I hope they add a how to video in the future to help people see how to assemble.Once the three books were finally assembled they turned out pretty cute. They're pretty big, I thought they would be smaller. They do look a little cheap. They won't withstand the test of time if you move them around a lot or place them near other items. Can't place heavy items on them like a candle,etc. But for the time being they'll be a nice edition to my home decor. They did come with a very cute pair of square farmhouse beads that spell HOME. They are well made, more durable than the books themselves. If you're looking for a set of fake books, there's better options online. I'm not sure I'd be willing to purchase these particular books in the future.

These decorative books are beautiful from a distance and add a nice touch to a space, but up close they do look quite cheap and cardboard like. Assembly was simple and quick, but the overall quality isn’t the best. I’ve seen other decorative books that resemble real books more convincingly.I decided to place them in my bedroom on top of a dresser rather than in my living room, so they wouldn’t take away from the elegance of my main decor. The included home beads and checkered ribbon are what really elevate the look and save this piece.While not top quality, they can still work as a budget friendly accent for the right space.

Cute for what it is.....

I guess I should've read the description better because I wasn't aware I was ordering thick cardstock 😑I will say that other than my human error, this book decor is super cute. It has held up well and I was sorta rough when putting it together. Noone can tell that it's not an actual book set and it is made from a thick card stock material. The beads are really cute, accents the books well, & ties in all my decor in my humble opinion. I would recommend especially if you can get it on sale or at a reduced price 😉 Even if not, I still think this set is worth the esthetic. PLEASE for the love of Jesus, read the description lol. Do as I say, not as I do 😆
