Nice candle warmer

This is the first candle warmer I've owned, but I now regret not getting one sooner! I hate having candles that burn straight down the middle and leave a ton of unusable wax on the sides. I also have kids so safety is always a concern as well. Hence, the candle warmer!It works better than I expected, actually. The lamp itself has a vintage feel to it but is solidly made. My two favorite features are that it has a timer (because I have a terrible memory!) and that it is dimmable. The brighter you have the setting, the quicker your candle will melt. I like using it on the lower setting at night when I'm reading before bed! You can also adjust the height and so far, all of my candles have fit without an issue.

Nice looking and funcational - Needs a design fix

This is a review of the YGS-Tech Candle Warmer LampPACKAGING:The lamp comes nearly fully assembled in its box with the only exception being that you need to install one of the two (2) light bulbs that come with the lamp. The lamp comes in a well designed box with plenty of protection for its travel.BUILD:This model of lamp comes with a “vintage,” floral style, green, lamp shade made of glass. The stem of the lamp is made of metal and has a locking, telescopic height mechanism which allows you raise and lower the lamp shade height to accommodate slightly taller candles. The base is made of laminate wood (possibly oak) and has a circular recess to allow your candle (not included) to sit in while it is under the lamp.FUNCTION:Once turned on, the lamp uses the halogen bulbs, in close proximity to the candle, to heat the wax of the candle and release it fragrance. The bulbs will get very hot so be careful where you touch once it’s been on for a while. You can use the telescopic shade to raise or lower the heat source to accommodate difference sized candles however; there is only a few inches of room to adjust to so there will be a limit to the variety of candles that you can use with this lamp.This lamp also has a switch in line with its power cord and will allow you to turn the light off/on as well as adjust the intensity of the light and set a timer for auto shut off.PROS:The lamp has a nice, antique-ish look to it that is sure to accommodate any décor of this variety. The lamp feels stable and the adjustable telescopic shade is a nice feature to give you more candle options.CONS:As previously indicated, this lamp will get hot. The light source of this lamp can and does rotate out of the centered position above the candle even when the telescopic adjustment is locked. A solid nudge of the table it may be resting on or even vibrations from people walking in the home or location, COULD cause the shade/light source to shift out of position above the candle. This should be a fully locking mechanism that prevent any kinf of light source rotation. This may cause a problem for any materials or medium that would now be subjected to hot light from the lamp. This is the reason for the reduced score.
