Beautiful, Soft, and Practical
I am extremely happy with these curtains. I recently moved to a new house that faces the street from one that was hidden up a long driveway with lots of foliage. I felt uncomfortable that people driving by could look right in through my sheers at night. I like lots of light though, so I decided to buy these blackout curtains and layer them on top of the sheers and it's perfect! I can close the curtains at night for privacy and use curtain ties to pull the to the side and leave the sheers underneath during the day. About the curtains:1. The color is beautiful. I ordered the hunter green.2. They are very soft and felt like.3. They washed beautifully. I saw some reviews and questions asking about the wrinkles and, quite frankly, I'm guessing they didn't wash them before hanging them. I washed mine first and then hung them up and no wrinkles.4. The grommets are well placed and solid.5. They are relatively thick, yet soft, and look like they will hold up a long time.6. The prices was reasonable.7. Upon opening them I could smell a slight box-like smell from shipping and hung them outside for an hour before washing them. No weird chemical odors.I am a happy customer with stylish privacy!

Wonderful curtains--make the room MUCH darker while looking beautiful!
Overall, I am extremely happy with YGO curtains. My new studio space has loads of windows, and so sleep hacking was very important to me.I was debating whether to get the 84" or the 95" for the french doors, and I wish I had gone for the longer ones now. The longer length would have made it easier to come completely to the floor and have the top of the curtains higher above the opening. The advantage to that is that the room could be more completely darkened.I find the fabric to provide plenty of room darkening. The challenge is that, with grommet tops, the curtains have to be hung further from the openings for the pleats to hang well when open. You also get some light through the grommets themselves.One advantage of these curtains is that they look great open or closed. When closed, it's not as important as some other curtain styles to have extra fabric. Nonetheless, I've decided to order two more panels to fully cover my french doors all around. I'm going to try something interesting and get the second set in an alternating color and see what having two colors on the same window might look like.For sleep hacking, the reds, browns, and blacks are likely better colors (I got teal), as we get so much blue light in our evenings already, and the color of the curtains does reflect wherever light seeps through around the edges. I have wine red curtains on some of the windows but felt all red would be too much red. I didn't want one color to take over and so will have 3 colors of curtains when done. Once I have all my curtains up, I'll take pics, but likely attach them to a different review.As for ideal black-out, I went with this company because the other company I've tried doesn't have as wide of a variety of size selection so I couldn't get all my curtains from one place unless I took the ones that were too long in for alterations. Also, this fabric is soooo nice, and better than the other company.Nonetheless, the thing I loved with the other company is that their curtains have a combo of rod pocket AND back tabs, and it was much easier to get my old room completely dark as a result. (It also helped that it was a basement room with a flat ceiling and only two windows. I used wrap-around rods, bought curtains that were long for the windows, and mounted them flush with the ceiling. When I closed the curtains completely, this achieved a cave-like affect.)Overall, both companies I've bought from on Amazon have provided excellent blackout curtains. If you've read this far, definitely go for blackout curtains for your sleep spaces. Be sure to buy large and mount as high above the opening as possible with the length coming down below the window as low as possible. Mounting several inches out to the sides also helps. Use rods that help block the light on the sides also. Buy extra panels, if the opening can't be COMPLETELY covered by two panels. Consider the color of the panels. as reds and browns are going to help your brain calm down at night more that blues will. (I know that might seem counterintuitive, and it is in how our eyes perceive the color of light as relates to time of day. Blue and "white" light are best in the morning!)

Worth Every Penny - BEAUTIFUL Colors to choose from for every room design
My Bedroom was RED, WHITE, BLACK & a little GREY with modern funky accessories. I decided to shop Amazon for MOST of the new items for the room. I am over the moon with ALL my Amazon purchases.1. The GORILLA GRIP rugs in soft purple color are fab. Now the rugs do look thicker in the photo, but they are not. They are still very soft & true to the soft purple color. Also ordered the light gray color for the foot of the bed. These rugs grip beautifully to my oak floors without ruining the floors. No rug pad needed. The rugs in place. Shake them outside – do not vacuum. They say they are washable, but I did not wash them yet. They have a 10-year guarantee.2. 3-Piece OVERSIZE Queen Fresca Quilt Reversible Bedspread (Purple, Grey Vine). See photo of the printed bedspread. I have a HIGH Bed Frame with 16” storage space under the bed. As you can see from the photos, the “oversize” queen bedspread really covers my storage bins under my bed without dragging on the floor, causing a tripping hazard. I am not a fan of Bed Skirts – I consider bed skirts dust collectors. EVERYONE I show the pictures of my new room LOVE this bedspread. It is light weight and folds up nicely and thin, so when not in use it stores easily.3. Hotel Luxury 3-piece Duvet Cover set Queen Size Lavender. The soft, beautiful lavender color fits my faded grey queen comforter perfect. Washes nice. One minor drawback – not enough buttons at the bottom, so I used safety pins & you cannot see the safety pins between the buttons. See photo for SOLID Color Lavender Duvet Cover. I placed 2 different pillow on the bed so the lovely lavender duvet color would stand out.4. YGO Blackout Draperies W52” x L4 5” 2 panels per package. Ring Top. Purchased 2 packages of the LILAC Color for my larger window & one package of the LIGHT GREY for my smaller window. I did have to lightly press all six panels – in under a half hour but look how nice they are in the room. They are not truly blackout but that is OK with me. I do have black roll up shades behind these curtains.I am very satisfied with ALL of my Amazon purchases above. I am still deciding on various Amazon artwork to add to the room without overkill.
