Very nice
I chose these clear acrylic “ice cube” gems because I have a lot of vases and thought it would be useful to have some vase filler on hand. They turned out to be a nice addition to my décor stash. They arrived as described, and I was pleasantly surprised by the size. The pieces are larger than I expected and irregularly shaped, which gives them a more organic look once they’re in a vase. They’re clear and very consistent in finish, though up close you can tell they’re plastic rather than glass. That didn’t bother me—they still look attractive and do exactly what I wanted them to do.These are very sparkly and catch the light nicely, especially in natural light. I’ve only used them as vase filler so far, but visually they work well, and I can easily imagine them scattered on tables for a wedding or party. They also photograph nicely, at least at closer distances. One pleasant surprise was the weight. They’re heavier than I expected, which actually helps stabilize a vase when using larger faux flowers. I did test them in water and found their behavior a bit unusual. One piece actually floated until I gently shook the vase. Even after that, several pieces still seemed almost buoyant and hovered slightly above the rest rather than fully settling to the bottom. The edges are smooth with no sharp spots, and they’re easy to handle. There was no odor when I opened the container. I rinsed them before using them and am letting them dry on a paper towel; they seem easy enough to clean with a quick rinse. I used the entire container to fill one vase, and it was just right. One unexpected thing I noticed is that it was slightly harder than expected to arrange stems in the filler, likely because of the irregular shapes. I don’t see that as a negative—it actually means the stems stay put and don’t shift around easily once arranged.Overall, these are attractive, sparkly acrylic fillers that meet my expectations and add both visual interest and stability.
These acrylic gems are colorful and just the right size for sensory bins. 1 package is enough for a small sensory bin and I am likely to purchase more packs so that I can create larger sensory bins. My students love how bright the colors, and how they catch the light, are and I love that they feel strong and haven't been broken when my students have dropped them onto tile or concrete. I notice that the shape of the gems appears to be pleasing for several of my students with autism, who seem to like to fidget with them, tracing the angles with their fingers. In addition to being used in sensory bins, these would also be fun for pretend play as pirate treasure, princess gems, etc., but keep in mind they may be a choking hazard for young children. For non-play purposes, the gems would bring a bit of pizazz to flower arrangements in clear vases, and depending on what color set you ordered, would be an easy way to tie in a color theme to floral arrangements. On a side note, these would also make good replacements for gems that have been lost from the Splendor board game, especially if you select the "Mix Color" set which would cover most, if not all gem colors from the game.
This YATOJUZI acrylic “ice cube” and gem set is such a fun and surprisingly elegant addition to any DIY project or event setup. Even though they’re plastic, they look beautifully clear and catch the light in a way that instantly elevates whatever you’re decorating.✨ Crystal‑Clear & Eye‑CatchingThe clarity on these pieces is impressive. They don’t look cloudy or cheap — they actually sparkle when the light hits them. Whether you’re using them in a vase, scattering them on a table, or adding them to a centerpiece, they give everything a clean, classy shine.🎉 Perfect for Parties & EventsThese are ideal for:Wedding centerpiecesBirthday tablesBaby showersHoliday displaysCandy buffetsPhoto propsDIY craftsThey add that little “extra” without being overwhelming. They’re simple, versatile, and honestly just fun to use.
I got these acrylic gem vase fillers to use for my son's school party. Since our school colors are purple and gold, these worked excellently for that. Although, I did find it a little strange to have the purple and yellow gems be transparent and the black gems are opaque. 165 pieces sounds like a lot, but it won't fill very many vases unless you only use a few in each one. I also was a little disappointed that all of the gems have exactly the same shape. It is a little less obvious when they are just tossed in a group. The gems are a good size and easy to use as vase fillers or table decorations. They are durable and will be able to be used for many different things. At $10 and needing to get several sets to fill even a handful of vases, I think these are a little higher in cost than I'd like.
