These curtains are well made, well stitched, and completely changed the entire look of my livingroom. Amazing for blackout curtains, however they are heavy so be aware you need a curtain rod or a thick one i have a really thin one that scrunches like a shower rod and it's a lot for it but overall perfect. Good size, soft/ good material, it is heavy, good value for money, keeps heat out pretty well but is still a curtain so it only does so much..

Brings a brightness to the room that you know you needed!

Note that the description states "room darkening curtains." That is an accurate statement. Some light will come through the fabric, but since it's lined, it's greatly reduced. While not entirely opaque, these are thick enough that there is no body outline from the outside of the house when standing inside with a strong backlight.The colors are really vibrant and the fabric is a heavy weight. Hanging 4 panels (like I have in the picture) alone made the rod really heavy so I had to put them on one at a time - holding the rod steady at one end with it's "hook" and then just resting the other end on the hook until I started the next panel. Finally, I "locked" the right and left grommets to the outside of the rod hooks with the second grommet inside. This made the ends stay in place.You can see that if I were a true Susie Housemaker, I would have ironed them before hanging. I am hoping that the wrinkles will fall out.This is on my sliding balcony door and it creates the privacy that I want. I bought some bright orange curtains to match the other windows in the room and now it sings!
