These curtains are beautiful! They have ties on each side of each panel so you can tie them open with ease. People have complained about wrinkles, wash them first and dry them on low and they come out. They are velvet, so there’s alway doing to be some little wrinkle marks. I used 6 panels to cover my French doors with side windows, and one panel each for to long windows on the side of my fireplace. They block light well. I wouldn’t say they are black out curtains as there isn’t a backing on them. I got the lavender purplish color so they seem to block the light well for me. They’re very soft and not super heavy like others. The price is right! Buy them, you won’t regret it.

We got these to section off our "media room" from the top of the stairs & bathroom. These have a nice weight to them & feel like good quality. They're definitely not sheer, and they do a great job of dampening the noise from downstairs (our upstairs room has an open stairway & is used by our daughter when we have guests that stay in her room). They also blocked the light well, and the color was true to what was on the screen. We purchased 2 other sets from another brand as well since they'd arrive faster, but we ended up returning them & keeping these. They provided a nice cover across the 72" wide opening, and they slide easily on the rod. Definitely recommend!
