Look nice with full light blocking and great thermal resistance

I wanted heat blocking curtains for my daughter's bedroom. These made an even bigger difference than I hoped in keeping her room a comfortable temperature. I got white ones to coordinate with her room decor as well as not make the room feel too crowded. They are fully light blocking, even in white. I like the gray liner; it doesn't contrast with the white curtain like the black liners do but still does a great job thermally. The curtains were a bit wrinkled out of the package but I tossed them in the dryer with a damp towel and a few wool laundry balls. They came out great and the few remaining wrinkles were gone a few days after hanging them up.These are unfussy, work very well, and are a good value.

Just got these up today in our master bedroom. They look extremely well made and they definitely blocked the light of day. Haven't really tested them yet for early morning sun and we will see about the noise reduction. I do not expect a lot out of them in that way but a little less road noise would be nice. There is a bump in the road right next to our house and every school bus, truck, trailer that goes by makes a little extra noise.The fit was perfect for the 3 different window sizes I have. The color (tan/beige) is nice, but color is a very subjective thing. They were what WE wanted. We do need to iron them but I was in a hurry to get them up top surprise my wife....LOL.

Well-made, I have them in every room

These blackout curtains exceeded my expectations. They completely block out sunlight—even during the brightest part of the day—which has made a huge difference in our sleep, especially for naps and early mornings. Work well

These work much better than the name brand I got years ago (comparison photo included- old ones on left.That being said- they’re cheaper so even after an hour and a half of steaming, not all the wrinkles came out as it’s a synthetic material. Maybe this is will prove to be a good thing when tied because they won’t easily wrinkle back? The hem is what gives away that they’re more on the cheap side, however they work WAY better at blocking heat and light than my other curtains, and I’m hoping it will be more helpful at winter insulation as well. And the texture of this material doesn’t look cheap, looks more like satin. So I’m happy with my purchase.

Insulated and light-blocking can provide tremendous relief in intense heat waves...

100 degree days for more than two weeks and I needed to stay upstairs where it was HOT. Well, a new portable AC unit and these insulated black-out curtains on the West-facing window got me through. (I chose not to add it to the South-facing window as I don't like a cave-like environment but felt the blinds and sheers was enough). These were pretty easy to hang and when it cools off, the attached ties allow me to have some light on that window too. reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
