We've purchased these three times. They're easy to install. They're sturdy and look amazing. They came a few days after promised but it may be the weather. The price is great. I must say I'll order these again.
This is a great curtain rod, especially to use with blackout curtains. They wrap around the edges of the window to function very well with light on the edges. Great look and value for the money, as I purchased two (2) additional and one for a large slider, that seems to be very sturdy. I really like the rounded ends instead of a traditional rod with the knobs.
The short version: very satisfied.Pros:- Sturdy, all metal- Holds very large and heavy blackout curtains no problem- Curtains don’t catch on anything while sliding- Very easy to install, except for the center mount- Nice, bright white exactly as pictured- The end mounts make it very easy to remove the curtains to launder them, then put them back upCons:- The center mount is difficult, but they did make it so that you can disassemble it to make things a little easier- Minor scuffs/scratches, which must be from the factory since each rod section is individually wrapped in plasticThe long version:Like pretty much every other curtain rod on Amazon these days, in comes in multiple smaller sections that you join together. The sections are pre-threaded, and when you join them together there are no ‘bumps’ at the joints for the curtains to catch on so they slide nice and smoothly. The end sections are both telescoping, so you join together a few pieces for the middle and then both ends are adjustable length—this works very well. The rods are metal, and while there were some marks in ours they aren’t noticeable unless you look very closely so no biggie.The rods attach/detach from the mounts very easily, making installation nice—screw the mounts to the wall then just pop the rod onto them. We like that you can just remove one screw at each end and the rod comes right off the mounts, which makes removing the curtains to launder them and then putting them back up nice and easy. It’s a well-designed system.My only complaint with installation is that the metal support bracket for the middle of the rod is difficult to install because of the screw placement. You can disassemble the center mount into 2 separate pieces easily enough, but it’s still a bit of a struggle to get installed. I didn’t realize how cheap my old one was till I installed this one! It’s sturdy, easy to slide on, easy to install, color as described, I have curtains with grommets on them and they’re pretty heavy but this is perfect! I love it! It is so sleek and I am going to order another for my other room, just to make my life easier!
I like the wrap around aspect. I got this one because it seemed like an easier install than others and I had a bit of trouble with it. The screw holes wouldn’t line up on the ends, but I eventually got it with some extra work.
Our patio door is flush with a corner wall and I really wanted to get drapes up before winter. This rod is perfect and so easy to install and it looks really good up. Doesn’t have a huge footprint in spite of being extremely sturdy. I can’t use the center bracket because it’s a slider with a single large drape which is really heavy and there’s no sagging.
Works great for my heavy blackout curtains with grommets. Looks like wood. Easy to hang on wall
