Lovely memorial votive holder - comes with an LED candle as well!

This white memorial votive holder arrived and I was surprised at it's size - I was expeting a pretty small votive holder, but I'm pleased by the size of this holder - it's the size of my hand and comes with an LED candle which was also a bonus that I was not expecting. The memorial votive looks just likes the photos listing and it is a nice quality holder. The writing is crist and clear and the votive holder has a lovely clear glossy glaze that gives is a nice shiny surface (also makes it easy to clean!).Take a look at the photos of the votive to get an idea of the size, in case you have a specifically small place you want to have this live, it would be important to know the size. This votive holder would also make a very lovely sympathy gift that could be given for both the loss of humans and the loss of pets. Overall I'm pleased with this purchase and would recommend to others.

A thoughtful memorial gift, but swap the candle

This is a beautiful and simple memorial gift, and the sentiment is very touching. The ceramic holder itself is well-made, compact, with a clean, smooth finish that looks very nice when lit. My only reason for giving four stars is that the included LED candle looks a bit artificial and cheap. It works much better and has a warmer, more comforting glow when you use a real wax tea light instead.

Such a beautiful memorial gift flames of love

This memorial ceramic candle is so breath taking. It truly made my day when I opened it up. It’s so beautifully made with great craftsmanship. I love the size it’s so much better than I ever expected. This is a great value for anyone who want to celebrate a love one with a beautiful flame. The hearts are such a wonderful touch as well. I would definitely purchase again for different family members. This purchase definitely made my heart smile when I think of my Dad. The teal light holder seems well made and beautiful. Led candle is nice but seems cheap.

This ceramic tea light holder is very nice and feels well made. It is heavy and feels like it should last.The led candle that comes with it is pretty cool. The little flame thing is on like a little wire thing, and I'm guessing the energy given off by the little light makes it move almost like it's flickering. Now the candle does seem pretty light weight and cheap, and it takes watch batteries, so once the battery runs out it will probably be replaced with another tea light, I just don't think it would be worth the cost to replace the battery.My aunt passed a cpl weeks ago so I got this for my mom as they were very close. One thing that I think is cool is that my aunt loved loved loved cardinals. Nowhere on the listing did I see anything to do with cardinals, but on the box that it came in has a cardinal and had a nice little message, almost as if it was meant to be.

Nice Housing, but Candle did not Work

It's been years now since I lost my loved one. I thought I was over the trinkets and things, but it was her birthday recently and it's always a tough day or two for me. I really liked the look of this WOODEXPE Ceramic Memorial Candle Holder and Candle, so I decided to get it for review.The holder arrived well packaged, in a basic cardboard box, but I do like that the box was not branded as a sympathy gift, and does have a saying of "I am always with you" with a drawing of a cardinal printed in black ink on the box. It was well protected in shipping with some styrofoam molds keeping it in place. Taking the holder itself out, it met all of my expectations. It is ceramic which is nice, as I like ceramic material, especially when it comes to candles. It makes that nice porcelain ding when you tap it with your finger. The main/front side looks exactly as described, with the saying "There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone the light remains" in plain black lettering. It's simple, but true and I like it. The front has a larger heart hole in it, which will look great for a candle. The back has no writing, and also has a heart shaped hole, though it is significantly smaller. There are small indentations throughout the piece, adding some texture. Overall, I quite like the holder itself. The candle unfortunately arrived not working, which is unfortunate because it looks like kind of a cool electric candle. The candle takes three specialized LR44 batteries, which are small, round batteries. I am not sure if the candle itself is defective, or if the batteries don't work, and I don't have any of these specialized batteries around to know for certain. And don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure the candle switch on the bottom was in the "on" position, which may mean that it's the batteries. But again, I can't be certain. I am deducting two stars for the candle not working, as it is kind of an important part of the piece. Price wise, I think the list price is fair, considering this includes the housing and a candle - assuming that the candle works.Conclusion: This has the potential to be a 5 star item for me, I just wish that the electric candle would've arrived working. I quite like the housing, and even if the candle doesn't work I do have alternative real candles that I can use. However, the fact that the candle doesn't work and this is for someone grieving the loss of a loved one is a larger error than what you normally would think. Currently, I am still glad that I have the housing as it was my main reason for getting this and it's fine, but if you're also getting this because of the electric candle I would be cautious, or make sure you have some specialty LR44 batteries around.

LED candle only lasted a few hours.

Candle light only lasted a few hours then died and it does not tell me what size batteries I need on the package. The words on there are cheaply printed on, not any special font just very...kind of unskilled work to be honest. This is a bit underwhelming but I will add my own designs and probably a real candle.
