I received this wooden penguin inspirational home decoration from the WONGSIA store. It comes with a penguin thats holding a heart that says YOU•RE FLIPPIN AWESOME! A tiny penguinis here to always remind you! It also comes with a circle base that has a rectangular hole cut out in the middle of it so the penguin can stand up and be seen upright. The decoration or gift was picked for a friend of mine who always forgets how awesome they are to me. Sometimes people need just that small reminder and this is the perfect little thing for them. I really like that the heart isnt just printed onto the penguins belly. It is also its own shape. The quality seems good and not cheaply made. Overall, this little penguin made my friend super happy when they seen it. I feel like this product is a great value and I am so glad I chose this for my friend.

Charming Design but Disappointing Details
This is a really cute idea, but the execution left me a bit disappointed.The penguin itself is made from thin, lightweight wood with a circle base to hold him upright. It is only painted on the front and the top of the base--leaving the sides and the back bare wood. Even then, the colors aren't vibrant. The black and white look fine, but the yellow is so pale it doesn't really stand out.The biggest issue for me is the heart-shaped sign the penguin is holding. The text on mine is not centered--it sits too close to the left edge, and some of the letters are actually cut off. That really takes away from what should be a sweet, meaningful message.For around $9, it's not a huge loss, but it doesn't feel like it's worth that price. Overall, it's a nice concept that just needed better quality control and attention to details to make it shine.

Cute Sentimental Gift or Collectible!
I ordered the "To My Husband" penguin because who doesn't love a cute penguin and our anniversary was March 3rd. It does have a cute face and a sweet sentiment written on the attached heart that the penguin is holding. I'm not sure why the listing says it's engraved as everything is painted on thin wood. The printed words are clear and easy to read. It's lightweight and easy to assemble, just slip the bottom tab of the penguin into the open notch on the round base and it stands up perfectly on its own. The paint job looks good, with no stray marks or colors. The black and white stand out nicely and the two little red hearts surrounding "To My Husband" add a little pop of color, but the beak and the feet on the penguin are done in a very dim yellow. It would definitely show up better if they were done in a brighter yellow. The back is unfinished wood. Still, it's a cute and inexpensive sentimental surprise gift to show someone you're thinking of them.

Super Cute!
This penguin is super cute! It is well made and the knitting (crocheting?) is well done. No loose yarn ends at all. The message is printed cleanly and clearly, so it is easy to read. The printed message is well positioned so you don't have to move it around to read it. It is a nice little, I'm thinking of you, gift for a partner.
