Cool wooden “fish bones” wall shelf - cool addition for beachy/nautical/fishing decor

I think it’s a really cute shelf. It did take me a few tries to put together, because the 4 “fish bones” shelf pieces are different sizes, and are meant to go into specific slots along the vertical “spine” of the fish. There weren’t any instructions or guidance on which shelf goes into which slot, but once you figure out they sit securely in place. Most of the shelves needed a little force to be wiggled all the way into the slot/cutout, so they’re not going anywhere once in place. But one of them doesn’t fit as snugly s it falls out of the slot when moving it around (before putting on the wall). But once it’s mounted on the wall, it’s secure.The whole thing is bigger/longer than I thought, but I like the size- it’s more noticeable and can hold more on the shelves. I wouldn’t put anything too heavy on these shelves though, just out of caution. The wood pieces are sturdy, but this is a decorative piece as well as a wall shelf, so I’d keep that in mind when putting objects on it. It can also just be used without anything on the shelves- it looks good either way. It’s a good addition for nautical, beach, or fishing decor. Actually, it would make a neat gift for a fisher... just add in some small framed fishing trip photos (you can’t go wrong with the classic “holding up your catch” pose, lol) and it would be a great present, imo!I also like that this can be used vertically or horizontally - gives you more options for where you can mount it.I think the overall quality is good for a functional decorative wall shelf (shelves* - plural), and it is “cute” enough for beachy decor, but also ‘rugged’ enough for a hardy fisherman’s wall (lol). I’ll update if anything changes, but I like this wall shelf unit so far!Two fins up!
