Affordable classic style. Decent quality for price.

As advertised. Nice looking and seems decent quality over all. I like this because it is somewhat simple, with classic design, and also has good quality brackets that seem sturdy. It holds 3 pair of velvet drapery panels easily with center support bracket and spans a large distance. Good value. (I have not yet hung the inner drapes/lining so I cannot comment on functionality of using both rods together, but should work fine.)

The best curtain rod set I’ve ever put up.

I’ve installed far too many curtain rods in my lifetime, and most of them were crap. Stamped steel, sharp edges, and a look that says big box department or home store. This kit looked like it was higher quality but photos on the Big River store are frequently deceiving.Everything about this product is of high quality. The box, the packing, the instructions (I don’t need ‘em but I read ‘em anyway - looking for flaws. There are none), and the rods and brackets are first rate. The brackets are cut from solid aluminum, the screws and hex wrench for the studs that hold the pipes in place is provided the wall anchors are sufficient for what the product needs to do. Everything that requires a paint finish gets it. The finish is superb. What this installer liked the most was that the bracket “feet” - where the bracket attaches to the wall - are space far enough away from the rod attachments that you can actually get a power tool or long handled screwdriver in where you need to, so attaching the brackets won’t cost you skin or a stripped-out screw.I’ll be replacing the other worn out curtain rods with more of these. They are good value for money. I can only hope that some bean counter empty suit doesn’t ruin this product by trying to save a nickel - as so many others have.
