Poorly made and is not usable

The threads in the rods do not fit together. The item isn't usable and the directions explaining the pieces should all match up and fit together, however, that is not the situation on the product we received. Picture shows the threads and how the metal has peeled off from trying to fit the pieces per the directions. I cannot find any contact information on the manufacturer for help and I am outside my Amazon window of service. Money wasted. 10/10 do not reccomend
