Fully black wax, middling quality, but great price for the quantity
These are fully black wax, not a painted/colored coating. The wax is glossy and not deeply pigmented, so when you scratch it or something it looks white. It's about what I expect from standard retail tapers. I did find burn time to be nearly 8 hours in a low-traffic area without smoking or dripping.Great price for the quantity

Amazing Candles For A Great Price!
I'm currently burning one of these candles, and I can tell you - I'm very satisfied with the quality of them! Though not quite 10 inches (as you can see from my pics), that's pretty negligible, since the candle has been burning for a little over 6 hours so far (they say these burn for 8). These candles are well made, well packaged, and individually wrapped for an added level of quality control. This attention to quality paid off because not ONE candle came broken. At about $12 bucks for a box of 14, you're paying less than $1 for each 8-hour burning candle. This is truly a bargain!Not only are the prices very competitive, but these candles are well-made! They burn clean, they burn long, and they burn safely. This is of paramount importance because occasionally I have candles burning while sleep and/or while gone for extended periods of time. I don't want to worry about a terribly made candle taking down my apartment as well as the entire building! I'm pleased to say these candles are well-made and safe. I would NEVER suggest doing what I do (leaving candles burning unattended), but if you did, these would be the candles you want to do that with!I think this seller has acquired a new customer!!

Only burned for two hours
These candles were wonderful, except they only burned for two hours.I made sure to keep the candle perfectly upright when I burned it and honestly I love the look of the black wax backlit by the flickering flame, but the candle was done burning way too soon. The listing advertised a 7-ish hour burn, so that's why I only gave 3 stars. I do love that the box came with 14 candles, making it a good deal for the price. Overall, if you love getting gorgeous wax drops, this is the candle for you. I will enjoy the rest of these but will keep in mind that they don't last as long.

These black taper candles are sleek and elegant! They were shipped out to me very quickly and I had them in no time.
