We’ve had these shelves for years and they’ve held up beautifully. They’re sturdy, easy to mount, and perfect for keeping small spaces organized. I’ve purchased multiple sets because they’re reliable and look great.
A great and stylish addition to any home that needs some shelving units. I purchased this recently as a need to add some shelving into my bathroom to hold my toothbrush and other small knick knacks and it works great! The shelves are nice and wide, wide enough so that I'm not worried about a standard toothbrush holder from sliding or falling off. The shelves list that they are able to hold up to 20 lbs and I have no worries about these shelves coming down from what I've placed on it.Installation was also nice and simple. I do live in an NYC apartment that only features drywall, and the drywall anchors that come in with the unit were great for helping me secure the shelves to the wall. Included diagrams and screws got the mounting bracket on the wall and the shelf went on without issue.Also a nice part, they are certainly stylish! The white is a nice a modern one and the finish is good. If you need to add some shelving units for knick knacks and some flair to your room, I would recommend these without any doubt.
Love these little shelves. They actually have plenty of space for a variety of things. I decide not to use the hardware provided to mount them but instead I used the adhesive pads that were provided. So simple to do! Very sturdy and I think they look stylish too. I was looking for a simple solution to add some lighting to a small home office. Great price simple installation and a great look! I got the lamps from amazon too.
Beautiful shelves. Bad shipping - in the original shipment and in the replacement shipment one shelf was damaged, so it was like 2 for 1 kind of deal. I wish the manufacture designed a little bit better packaging. The installation is easy if the walls are perfect. Small curve and the installation is very difficult as you need to adjust how tight the mounting plates are. Overall it is a nice shelf if you are lucky to receive it in good condition and if you are lucky and have perfectly flat walls.
My cat recently learned how to climb on the top rail of my bed. The way he gets up there is scary but he loves being up there so I thought I would hang some shelves to make it safer for him and me both. I was hoping for something simple looking that would make nice stairs for him. The shelf had to look good, be sturdy, wide, safe, and reasonably priced. I settled on these shelves and they turned out better than I expected.Mounting them was really easy. The instructions are written pretty simple but still easy to figure out. There is a jig included making it easier to space and level the brackets. The brackets themselves have a level included in them. While the brackets are inside the jig you can be sure they are level and screw them directly to the wall. Once screwed to the wall you slide the jig off and then slide the shelf on. It is pretty simple. I hung each shelf so one bracket was on a stud (blue tape marking the stud) and the other used the included drywall anchor. I hung all 4 in about 45 minutes but there was a cat slowing me down because he was trying to steal my boxes.My cat didn't really want to use the new staircase but he almost fell getting up there and I had to get him down, now he only uses the stairs to go up. Coming down he still prefers to jump on the bed because it's obviously more fun that way. I thought about putting something non-skid on the shelves mainly because he has horrible depth perception because he recently lost one eye (I rescued him after he lost it so don't be mad at me). However, they really are not that slippery and he can walk up and down and not jump. This really doesn't have a lot to do with the shelves themselves but anyone else looking to hang some nice looking, non-carpeted, cat shelves will care about that bit.
The shelf is really nice and strong but the mounting system is the pits.I wanted to mount it with screws so I did.Major problem if you need to use the plastic screw anchors which I did.The mounting plate for the wall is quite small and mounts with 2 screws directly above and below each other and not far apart. The top of the heads of the screw anchors cannot not be flush with the wall when fully inserted and thus hold the mounting bracket (and subsequently the shelf) away from the wall.The result is the mounting plate rocks sideways like a see-saw with the anchor heads as the pivot point since they hold the back edge of the shelf the thickness of the anchor heads away from the wall.Would probably not have been a problem if the mounting plate had recesses for the anchor heads but it does not. I solved the problem enough by cutting narrow strips of the adhesive mounting pads they provided and sticking then to the back edge of the shelf to significantly reduce the side-to-side rocking motion.Each mounting plate has a bubble level built in.I found them to not be very accurate but, no matter.It is very difficult to get 2 anchors installed exactly vertical and no really-useful adjustment for leveling them once on the wall.I mounted them both anyway and will hope the thickness of the adhesive pads will provide enough pressure against the wall to keep them in place.They also did not come with a template for marking the screw positions on the wall.
I used the screws for the wall mount and it was a simple install.Needed a place for my cell phone charger away from my hooligan cat who likes knocking things off my night stand at 3am.The wall mount is a small plastic trapezoid with a tiny level built in to assist with making sure the mount is level during install.The wall mount trapezoid indexes with another mount on the back of the shelf locking it securely and making it instantly removable in the future.In summary, I like this shelf and screw mount. It’s a good size, easy to install, holds solid and has a clean look.
