This small three-piece candle set is simple and understated. The white candles have a clean, classic appearance, but they don’t really make a statement. I'm not deducting a star for not realizing that these were so small. Rather, the star deduction is for what I see as their limited usefulness at these sizes. That said, if you have need of small pillars, these will do nicely. They burn clear and steady, with no discernable scent, and provide a nice amount of light. They might be useful as emergency candles in a small kit, since they don't require a holder and stand on their own. Unfortunately for me, though, they aren't large enough for the decorative purpose I had in mind.
