Pleasantly surprised!
I knew when ordering that these were smaller sticks, and that the included burner was a bit cheesy with the clock app-whytegirl-spiritualmanifester-marketing, but hey - I love trying new incense, and I love white copal especially. I did notice the ad copy hit all the toktik-manifester marketing keywords about being toxin free and pure - fact is, no smoke is toxin free and it all causes lung damage eventually. The bamboo core on incense, when burned, releases silica, VOCs like benzene and formaldehyde, and carbon monoxide, and can increase your risk of lung diseases in the long term. Burn safely and with adequate ventilation.The scent on this is far more woody than I’m used to for white copal. Usually it’s a bit more citrusy, like lime, and resinous like pine and balsam, and a bit camphorous. This has the heavier scent of black copal, earthy, woody, and a bit more aggressive. Either way though, it IS a natural incense so the scent is lighter than chemical incense, and the quality seems high. It burns well and cleanly, and each stick burns a good half hour depending on the airflow around where I place it.It’s priced well, many incense burners alone are around this price point, but probably isn’t something I’d buy again. I prefer usually coreless incense, and the scent on this just wasn’t up to my expectations. The quality, pricing, quantity of sticks, and included burner all met description.

A Somewhat Pleasant Surprise
White Copal Incense sticks burn very well and leave an outdoorsy aroma throughout the room it is burned in. You receive 30 sticks that burn for about 25 minutes. Although, white copal usually smells like citrus, I don't smell it in these sticks. They have a more churchy, woodsy scent than I expected. You might want to crack a window or run a fan on low when burning because the natural woodsy scent can get a bit strong after about 10 minutes. These incense sticks will clean the air as promised. My whole house smelled like white copal for a long time after I burned a couple sticks in my bedroom and front room. You also receive a small incense burner with the sticks, which I thought was a thoughtful gesture. If you enjoy burning incense for meditation purposes or just to cleanse and scent your air, you will enjoy this product. It is also packaged very nicely.

Little mini incense!
I like these incense sticks alot they are slightly shorter than standard inscense sticks but not by too much. The scent is natural, it doesnt come off with any kind of a chemical smell. Thats important to me. Its gentle and woodsy. I usually burn one with some nag champa becuase the two smells seems to really complement eachother. And its not overwhelming.. i love that the wooden inscense catcher says energy clearing in progress, becuase its a nice reminder to set the intention in addition to just burning inscense. The inscense catcher is for a shorter inscense stick, so placing a regular sized one on it will be a bit messy but since its not that much shorter you can always just snip back some of the wood and it would work for regular inscense too.

Smooth, calming with clean aroma
I have never heard of this scent before so I was curious to try and who couldn't use a good energy cleansing? The incense come in a nice box with its own wooden stick holder. Its "engraved" with the phrase "ENERGY CLEANSING IN PROGRESS" and has a small indentation to collect the ash. The hole for the stick was a bit shallow, you have to carefully put the stick in and don't touch it or move it or it falls out easily. It could have been boared out deeper. The sticks are shorter but easy to light. Once lit and the scent starts to fill the room, I would describe it as clean, lightly sweet and resinous, with a hints of soft pine and citrus but also a warm amber undertone. It feels grounding without being heavy. You still get the incense smoke smell but airier. I could see someone easily meditating and feeling "cleansed" when lighting one of these. Its a good value for 30 sticks and a wooden holder. This could be given as a gift as well the way its packaged.
