Minimalist, textured, classical-ish and versatile
The “Swirl Texture” version of this vase has an interesting pebbly surface that makes me think of spray-on wall texturing, with a meditative swirl shape that lends it a classical feeling, rather like an Ancient Greek sculpture (though of course this is a Chinese style, not a Western one). The finish has a sort of pearlized effect without literal iridescence; it seems like the vase has a satin finish but the texture breaks up the light, so that combined with the milky white color it looks pearly. The listing does say the measurements are approximate as this is a handmade product, so these are the measurements on mine: It’s just shy of 10 inches tall, the bottom of the vase is about 3 inches, and the top is about 2 ¼ inches; maybe the opening where the stems go is about an inch across. This seems like it would suit a variety of spaces and styles, either blending with a sleek airy space or providing a point of visual rest in a busier, more maximalist space. It definitely draws the eye without being flashy and it’s neutral enough to complement a variety of floral/botanical arrangements.
