PERFECT for nighshifters. Also a win for migraine sufferers! This has given me better sleep than any curtain. There is no light peaking from the corners since this clings to the window. Very easy to assemble as well.
Fit perfectly. Stick well, 100% light blocking, installation was easy
I installed it over my living room window to help with light, as my desk looks right at the window. Another benefit was that internal temps are 5°+ degrees cooler with no AC running in my apartment. Only complaints are: the Velcro included, the adhesive stuck to the windows after a month or 2. The Odor is a bit strong until it dissipates. Recommend leaving outside unfolded for several hours before using.
These blackout curtains are surprisingly effective for how thin they are. They stick directly to the door and block out light extremely well, the room is truly dark once they’re up. The material is lightweight, which makes them easy to handle, and there’s plenty of fabric. I used them on a sliding glass door, covered both sides, and still had a little leftover.The only drawback is that I wish they came with more Velcro strips for extra hold, especially if you want them to stay perfectly tight around the edges. Overall though, they’re a great portable solution for blackout coverage and do exactly what they promise.
They were perfect for our doors . They keep light totally out. When we want light we remove they from the glass and boom ! There you go . Perfect 😉
The material is not multi-layered as shown. The description says 4 x layers when really there are 2 at best. Measuring and cutting was a huge pain since there is no kind of grid to help guide you. I had to cut this 100 x 58 sheet down to 82 x 46. It took me over an hour to carefully, measure, mark and cut the sheet and even with my effort it wasn't a fully straight rectangle. I put it up anyway because it was good enough. Then the heat came in and when I returned to the window I found the adhesive melted off, the whole thing had fallen down. This left a melted mess on my window. I put up more of the velcro adhesives and during the heat of any given day, they all still keep melting off. Suction cups would've made more sense than sticky adhesive velcro pieces. Decent, cheaper, temporary alternative to blackout and stop the greenhouse effect vs. buying full blinds. But other than that I don't recommend it.
Amazingly effective. Great instructions easy to follow. Easy to cut and install. Used on my RV driver & passenger side 'UPPER' windows. Super light, 100% blocks out the sun glare! No more sun blinding me from the upper windows. Excellent product, very reasonably priced. Quick delivery. I'm ordering more for my other RV windows!
