Lots of fun
Sometimes you just want to give a little gift to someone to tell them how great you think they are, or a little retro-inspired knick-knack that feels like part of an inside joke – especially when one is of a certain age to unironically appreciate the popularity of both crochet and vinyl records. I have just such a coworker and she got a big kick out of this.This is a pretty substantial size (I took a photo with a regular ballpoint pen to provide scale) and can be displayed by tilting it back against another surface. Because of the knit fabric I couldn’t really get it to stand up without some support, but I thought it would be cute on a little shelf leaning up against some books or small decor. I really liked that it came in a gauzy drawstring bag to make it feel like more of a gift than just an object, plus it saved me from having to buy a separate gift bag for something I was giving as just a small token.
