Good shelf, just use common sense
So this is a good shelf. The size is hard to beat. If you're handy you can anchor it to a couple of studs. I ordered the 36 inch ones. The bracket feels a little flimsy and someone who can weld could easily add some angle supports in about 5 minutes and the shelf would still cover it. All that being said the 36 inch shelf is only rated for 30 pounds "evenly distributed." Just to test how strong it actually is I placed a 50 pound bag of cement right on the edge. It actually held 2 50 pound bags but it looked like a 300 pound bearded fellow who decided to take his wife's Sportster out for a spin. With 2 50 pound bags it wept for mercy and started to fall away from the wall like a discount plumbers jeans 2 sizes too big while he's bent over under the sink. Overall I would recommend these, I plan to stress them some more, but as long as the plumber stays off of them, I think they will work for me.

Good quality shelf
Bought this back in November and it’s been holding up pretty well. The stuffed animals aren’t heavy but the shelf itself felt heavy so definitely anchor on a stud and use good dry wall anchors. I didn’t use the anchors it came with if I’m being honest, I used those self drilling gold dry wall hammer in anchors.

Works ok. Huge anchors
Getting the anchors in the wall without going all the way through the Sheetrock and falling behind the Sheetrock was the biggest challenge with installation. I had never used these anchors before and ended up with several .5"-.75" holes in my wall that I needed to fill and paint. I had a lot of frustration over those anchors. (Make sure you know where you want it because once you get it in you're not going to want to move it.) Once I finally got the anchors in the wall correctly the rest of the installation was easy. Shelf slants a little bit, wobbles if you touch it, and there's a small gap between it and the wall, but otherwise is pretty secure. Definitely NOT weight bearing. I have it holding my alarm clock and tiny DVD player, and it works great under the TV for that.

Great product!
I have these in two different sizes and they are great! They are sturdy and can hold quite a bit of weight! I have moved twice and reinstalled the shelves and they are still holding strong!

Just what we wanted..
It was hard to find a shelf 12” deep, very happy with this one for my daughter’s room. It’s light weight, very easy to mount, everything worked perfectly. Also very impressed with the packaging, well protected.

Decent, not amazing
They weren’t the easiest to install but that’s because I found out the hard way, they most definitely need wall anchors and the ones that come are self drilling even though it says to hammer them. Even with them and with a lot of screws for the 36” one, it is still not the most supportive. Luckily I’m not putting anything that heavy on them but kinda afraid about the cat jumping on them. They look nice though and well, it’s a shelf.

Great Value!
I wanted inexpensive white floating shelves that were 4' by 12". That's a hard size to find, especially for less than $100. These fit the bill perfectly. I have them attached to one stud and used the enclosed drywall anchors. They're plenty sturdy for my plushies. From looking at the negative reviews, I think people are expecting too much. If you want cheap white floating shelves for less than $100, that don't need to hold a lot of weight, these are for you.If you want the best quality, you'll have to pay hundreds more or hire a professional to build you built in shelves.
