I've never lived anywhere that didn't have wall-to-wall carpeting, so when I ended up in a small place with wood laminate floors, I wasn't sure how I'd get on with them. It took me one month to realize they aren't for me. I don't like the sparse look they give a room, and I hate how my bare feet can feel every bit of grit. I HAD to have rugs!My decorating taste took an unusual turn (green with a Romany twist), so I knew the style was just right. The color...? Normally, I wouldn't touch this shade of green with a ten-foot pole, but it was this or something that wouldn't fit well.When I got the rug, the instant I laid it down I knew I was in love! The lighter shade of green added life to the darker hues on the couch and windows, and it really helped make that tiny space open up like it was a much bigger room.It laid down like a dream! What little curling existed at the corners disappeared in just a couple days. The short pile is soft and feels smart (not rough) against bare feet, as opposed to the "messy" feeling shag carpets always feel to me. And it's so big and heavy duty, it's not going anywhere! Granted, I have the front half of my couch resting on it, but I don't think this thing would slip if you begged it to.It's beautiful and elegant, but will clearly stand up to average traffic. My Shark Rotator cleans it quite nicely, and it doesn't look like it's doing the rug any harm. I haven't had any spills (no children or pets), so I can't attest to spot cleanup, but it doesn't seem like that'll be a problem.If you want to dress up a room, a good rug and window treatments should be your first go-to. This rug is literally a great foundation to build on. I'm very happy with the money I spent on it.

This rug really pulls my livingroom together and makes my new apartment feel like a home. Well worth the money. Super quality. It's a deep burgundy type of red, not a bright Santa Clause red, which is what I wanted (bright, cheerful), but it's so beautiful that I don't care. I was concerned that creases wouldn't come out from being folded during shipping, but it's been several weeks and the rug appears to be smoothing out just fine on it's own. I'm so impressed! The rug is lovely and exactly what we wanted. The color is accurately shown in the photo and is perfect for our needs. We were pleasantly surprised at how plush it is. Right now it's still a little wavy and wrinkled from having been so tightly wound up for shipping, but we're hoping that will ease up as time goes on. Great value.

Ordered this rug 3 years ago, loved it! Decided to order the exact rug... WOW! What a difference. The one I just recieved is thin all wrinkled, not at all same quality of my 3 year old rug! The rug came in perfect condition and much sooner than stated. I got a brown one 8x10. It laid flat right away, the smell was a normal rug smell that went away in a couple of hours. We already put the rug in the bedroom and it looks great! I have the same rug 5x7 from this company that I got in 2018. Though the quality of the new rug is exactly the same, the colors are a bit different, which is alright since the smaller rug is in our master bathroom. I'm happy with my purchase!
