Bought three of these for Christmas day crafting with the kids. They turned out very cool, but the instructions are a little lacking. You have to form the sheet of plastic into a cone and they do a very poor job of explaining that. Other than that, it was pretty fun. A couple of the glass pieces did fall off when the glue dried, so be sure to use plenty of hot glue on the pieces.

The instructions were not very clear. And the smal shells were so brittle. They broke when I touched them so I had to improvise and use ny own that I got through out the years
Order extra sea glass
Where do I start....Let me start by saying I'm a creative person who likes to try various different types of crafting avenues. I would not recommend this kit at all. The sea glass peices are too large to peice together adequately. The base of the trees you have to shape yourself, which is very difficult. I start the project and used hot glue gun (don't recommend cuz it melts the tree itself). The glass falls off. Never completed the project as I was very frustrated.
So cute! I used quality craft Styrofoam cones ($4.50 for two) instead and shortened them so we didn’t run out of glass. Will use the adhesive cone paper included in kit for another project. Tips: have a load of good glue sticks on hand! And at the top just use the glue to make a point with the glass pieces. It’ll look pretty no matter how you make it. Also follow instructions and wash and dry the glass before gluing.
WHILE I WAITED A WHILE FOR THIS KIT IT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT. THE SEA GLASS AND SHELLS ARE REALLY NICE. IT WAS A NICE CRAFT PROJECT TO DO WITH MY SISTER. ADDED A NICE TOUCH WITH MY CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS. NICE SIZE. LOOKS REALLY PRETTY
