The timer is a nice feature. Gets kind of too bright.

I gave this frosted glass and metal wax warmer 4 stars because there are a few things I'm not sure I like.It has the traditional small incandescent light bulb inside, and a wax warming tray that's removeable for cleaning. The outer section is metal and the inner section is frosted glass. One issue I have is that the wax doesn't melt well unless the light is set to high, but then it's VERY bright. If you set the light to a lower setting it's going to take a long while to get the wax hit enough to melt. BUt the lower light settings are much prettier than the blaring high setting. That brings me to the timer. I LOVE the timer function. I can set it to stay on for 2hr, 6hr or 8hrs. And it will turn off afterwards. I find that I have to put it on high for an hour or so to get the waxelting and then I can turn it down and add the timer. So, not a perfect wax warmer but it's good. Note that the unit will not turn back on by itself every day, it's not that kind of timer.I plan to get a little silicone tray to put in the wax tray for easier wax changing, but for now the traditional method of popping the tray into the freezer for an hour has worked.Also the cord is short so you'll probably need an extension cord to get this into the spot you want it. Comes in a well protected box.

Beautiful, functional, and has a timer!!

I have a few electric wax warmers and this is probably the best (although I do love my ghost one). Why? It has a timer. None of the others have timers and I sometimes forget to turn them off. So huuuuge plus on that.Additionally, you can adjust the brightness, which is great. It fits in almost every decor style so you can have a nice smelling room with a pretty little lamp warmer...with a TIMER!! (sorry...weirdly excited about that).
