I love these rugs so much.

So far I have two of these graphic/geometric Easy-Jute rugs in different patterns--one at the front door and one at the back doors--and now I want several more for my kitchen and maybe even my bedroom.To begin with, the faux jute fibers don't feel plasticky or synthetic whatsoever - they have the matte quality of genuine jute and a smooth weave that feels nice under bare feet. Visually, it gives that naturalistic rustic modern touch that organic jute or sisal does.I actually got a non-slip rug pad to go under it, but it turned out not to be necessary - they have a grippy plastic backing that keeps them pretty well in place, even when our 120 pound mastiff sees a squirrel and Barney Rubbles in his haste to get out the back door.I haven't spilled anything substantial on them yet, but I assume the plastic would also help stop spills and liquid from getting through to your floors.What makes these so frankly superior to other "performance"-type rugs is just how stylish and on-trend they are. The pattern is elegant, modern and crisply rendered--you can find similar designs in rugs at a much higher price point.The only way they truly differ from jute is the fact that any dirt or spills can literally be wiped or scrubbed up with either water or cleanser and a cloth, and the rug looks good as new, which is absolutely fantastic when you have dogs (and I imagine this applies to kids as well)I haven't washed them yet - pretty much because I don't really see a need to; vacuuming and spot cleaning has been more than adequate to keep them looking good as new. I do think that, being synthetic, if you do wash them, you should do it in cold/cool water on the gentle cycle, or by hand in the bathtub - and then either let dry or tumble dry with no heat or on extra low.They're so stain resistant they won't need much more, and hot water can mess up plastic fibers by melting and deforming them, and I'm not sure how the print would hold up to a ton of heat either.Durability seems to be great - I will update if I see any massive wear in the next few months.These are absolutely incredible for high-traffic areas you still want to look chic--they're made of performance materials but don't *look* like performance materials. Big recommend.One more nice bonus - they're so tightly woven they're actually quite sweepable, if you're sweeping hard floors in a hurry and don't want the hassle of dragging out your vacuum!

Great price for a nice rug that can be spot cleaned. I put mine in the kitchen and it took a couple days to flatten out. Rug came folded in plastic. True to color depiction

I'm not sure i would put this outside, but i did out it on a covered back porch and it works well there. It's a little on the thin side but cleans well in the washing machine because of that. The weaved texture is rather flat; which i like but I'm afraid of the quality possibly fraying if it where put in harsher conditions. It's a good size overall and covers an entry way well. It seems somewhat dirt resistant but picks up chunks quickly from feet and paws.
