Gorgeous statement rug with a few quirks but totally worth it

This mystical luna moth rug instantly became the focal point of my living room—the graphic is beautiful, vivid, and gives the space a really cool, moody aesthetic. The rug is thinner than I expected and one corner started to fray a bit, which my puppy was a little too excited about, but it still mostly stays in place on the floor and lies flat enough for everyday use. Despite those minor issues, the design is so stunning that I absolutely love it and I’m happy to keep it as a statement piece.

The edges are a bit rustic.

Only giving 4 stars because the square cut isn’t exactly square, but then again I don’t think anything in my house is square or on point or whatever. Unique edging, I will call it :). The print is lovely, and the rug is soft, and the description of low pile is definitely accurate. Like, don’t try to run your Dyson across it without help, lol. Seems to stay in place pretty well. On day 2 of having this rug, my perfectly housebroken dog had horrid tummy demons that were exorcised onto my lovely new purchase, and the rug cleaned up so well. Also, in case you were wondering, the dog was extremely ashamed and very incredibly sorry. The backing is durable enough that it prevented demon belly seepage to my laminate flooring. Durable enough that the backing barely got wet when I hauled my lovely rug outside for a really aggressive hosing and scrubbing and rinsing. The colors didn’t bleed or show any staining from doggie demon doodoo - this rug experienced the WORST thing my household could do to it, and it didn’t even flinch. After the trauma of poops and thorough scrubs and drying in the sun, the rug is soft and looks like the day I unwrapped it, absolutely no fading, and it laid down perfectly flat on the floor, not a crease or wrinkle or lifted corner. Is it a thousand dollar Persian rug? No. Does it look and feel great in my humble home? For sure. It even just survived the emotional trauma of family dinner with my in laws. I will maybe even get a backup rug in case of future trauma, so I can keep them in rotation. Just get it, if you’re on the fence. Maybe give it a quick saging though, just to make sure it doesn’t give your 12lb mutt 19lbs of liquid agony poops, or cause your in laws to air their marriage garbage during a pleasant meal.

Very happy! Don’t expect a thick rug for this price, but it is as vivid as pictured and will be durable for a room that gets traction-action. I got it for my meditation/do-what-I-want “play” room and it’s perfect for the rest of my colorful loves. I like that it is washable and that I could get a 4x6 with good value for my money. It’s soft and has a non-slip back. Love this print!
