Looks exactly as the pictures depict. It’s not as thin and flat as a lot of other washable rugs which is nice. It’s soft and easy to clean. I’ve only hand washed with a carpet shampooer which works great- the stain resistance feature is great for when you notice someone spilt or a dog just peed as it will allow you to clean up before anything is absorbed.
