It’s soft enough to walk on, but a bit thinner than expected, so I’d recommend adding a rug pad for extra cushioning.Overall, great value for the price and a solid choice if you want a neutral, modern rug.

It is washable and does keep things from leaking through it if spilled. It does move a little bit if you set things on top of it on a carpet, but I haven’t tried to put it on anything other than carpet. I don’t think it’s meant for you to put it on carpet if you don’t want it to move. It is a great rug and very pretty :)
