I love this rug!!

I absolutely love this rug - it has such a cool pattern and the size is perfect for our living room. It's very thin and fuzzy. The cats love it haha - I like that the material can't be chewed very well by them. Our old rug was a bit fuzzier and the cats were pulling out a love of the fuzz and getting it everywhere. No issues with this one and I really love the design!! The slip resistance is great - we specifically got it so that we could play with our cats in the living room without them slipping on the hardwood floor.

Very Soft But... Different Vacuum Needed

I actually do use reviews on certain products so I am hoping this will help someone. This rug is beautiful! I'm a marble look fan and so I was instantly drawn to all the colors. They are very vivid even more so after I washed it. I purchased the blue one, but it has more turquoise and teal in it than blue. I like all of those colors but if you are expecting true blue throughout, you may be surprised. It is a thinner rug, so there's not a much padding as with thicker area rugs. When I unpacked it, it did have a rubber smell to it which did go away after the washing. The instruction card that came with it said to do frequent vacuuming to help prevent dirt from settling deep in the rug. When I went to vacuum it, however, my vacuum had too much suction and the rug actually jammed the roller. I ended up getting a $40 stick vacuum which actually works pretty well. I have 3 big dogs that love to lay on any rug so I knew I was going to have to vacuum a lot. The fact that this 5 x 7 rug is washable is a huge plus. I did see some pretty significant creases in the rug when I first unpacked it, but between the washing and just being laid flat the creases have vanished. I did also purchase a gorilla gripper piece that goes under the whole rug. The rug does have a bit of a rubber backing already on it, however with 3 dogs running around on it I knew it would not stay in place without a little something extra. The backing may be enough if the rug is under something heavy like a table or if you are a small pet/no pet household. If you are considering this rug, remember that it's washable! And under $70! Those 2 things alone make it worth it.

Lovely rug, fills the space well

This rug looks great! It's so thin that it actually arrives folded up! Once unfolded, there are very minor, almost indistinguishable folds in it, but they do flatten out on their own in a few days without the need to stretch it out or put weights on the edges. The design looks accurate tot he product listing, too, which is always good when ordering anything online. It feels sort of a mix between plush and velvet. It has just a high enough shag for your to dig your toes / hands into, but not cover them. I really like how easy this is to wash, too, either by hand or tossed entirely into the washing machine. There has not been any pilling or excess shedding so far. Would be great for the center of an office or living room.

Washable Area Rug 5x7

After I had unrolled it, I was immediately impressed by the brilliant combination of blue and gold that was there. The beautiful and contemporary design enhances the atmosphere of my living space by adding a contemporary touch that quickly raises the atmosphere. It is my opinion that the color combination is sufficiently adaptable to match a wide range of interior design styles, from minimalist to eclectic. I used this product in my living room, which saw a lot of foot traffic and was subjected to a variety of messes on a daily basis, including coffee spills and muddy paw prints. Regarding this particular aspect, the low-pile building has proven to be a game-changer. The fact that it does not shed means that I do not have to continually pick up stray strands, and it is much simpler to vacuum than the high-pile rug that I had previously acquired. At first, I was hesitant to put a rug measuring 5 feet by 7 feet into my washing machine; nonetheless, to my astonishment, it was able to be inserted without any difficulty. After being washed, it was revitalized, with hues that were just as vivid as the day I purchased it. Simply having this capability has allowed me to save on the expense of hiring a professional cleaning service.

Grainy resolution

I spent an unhealthy amount of time looking for a new carpet to enhance the vibe of my living room and finally settled on this one for the colors and reviews and because people said it was soft. I probably should have figured this out from pictures in reviews and the low price of the item but I’m a little disappointed on the grainy resolution and how it kind of looks like a blown up poster printed on a fleece blanket. It’s only really noticeable if you’re sitting on the carpet and looking at it closely but I bought this carpet to have a comfy place to sit in my living room so it’s a significant gripe for me.I would buy another carpet if I time traveled to a time before purchasing but it’s not bad enough that I want to return it.Pros:Good for high traffic areas because of the low pile and sturdy backing. Will be easy to clean with a vacuum without fear any fibers will come outDefinitely softer than my previous carpetCheap and came to my door fast!Cons:The design has a grainy resolution and looks cheap if you’re sitting on the carpet (see photos for the close up view, first two are without flash, third is with flash)Additional notes:Comes to your door folded so will have some creases that you’ll have to get out somehow (I’m hoping time will do it for me and I don’t have to roll it up for days or steam them out).
