Non-Slip Rug Pad That Lays Flat and Stays Put on Hardwood Floors

I’ve gone through more rug pads than I care to admit, and this one actually does what it’s supposed to do.It lays flat right out of the package; no curling edges, no weird waves under the rug. Once it’s down, the rug stays put. No sliding on hardwood, no creeping when people (or pets) walk across it. The grip is solid without feeling gummy or leaving residue behind.I also appreciate that it’s thin but effective. It adds just enough cushion to make the rug feel better underfoot without changing the height or making doors catch. You don’t notice the pad visually at all; you just notice that the rug finally stays where you put it.If you’re looking for a non-slip rug pad for hardwood floors that actually works and doesn’t damage the floor, this is a good one. I’d buy it again and would be happy to test other home products from this brand.

The rug doesn’t move anymore; great for thin washable rugs

I’ve ordered a number of washable rugs, which are great, but are typically very thin, and therefore not super comfortable under foot on hard flooring like I have. I have vinyl plank flooring in my apartment, and the rugs, the washable rugs at least definitely benefit from a rug pad. This one isn’t as thick as I think I would ultimately like, but that said it’s a huge improvement over no rug pad at all. It definitely grips the rug better and makes it lay more smoothly and adds that bit of cushioning that makes walking on the rug more comfortable. I haven’t made use of the waterproof feature since I have vinyl flooring that is essentially waterproof as it is, but it’s a nice feature to have and the rug pad is easy to install. The hardest part was moving my furniture to take the rug up to put the pad down and then putting all of the furniture back in place. Four stars because I wish it was a bit thicker. Overall a great value though.

First pad that didn't slide!

I was a bit wary ordering this rug pad with no written reviews, but it had fast delivery for the exact size I needed (for a runner in a weird size), so I took a chance, and I am oddly enough very satisfied. The reason I'm surprised and writing a review is because it has an effective rubber coating on the bottom of the pad that really, really stops the pad and the rug placed on it from moving all over my ridiculously old hardwood floor, and I appreciate that very much. I think of the 8 rug pads in my home right now, this is the only one thus far that has actually kept the rug that sits on it from moving. Of course, the other 7 I bought claimed they would keep the rug in place, but in all the years I've had them, they never have. So thank you for working; that's all I can say. This pad has not moved one millimeter since I put it down. The rug on top of it is being a pain and sort of moving around on top of it, but that is NOT the fault of the pad; it's a ridiculous rug, turns out, and I'll end up putting some stickers on it; it's one of those washable things that I would not even call a "rug." That's my bad. But it definitely needed a pad. And the pad was also as thick as it was supposed to be, one-quarter inch. I measured! (See photo) So I will keep buying these pads if and when I buy any more rugs, for sure.

Best ever!

This is the BEST non slip pad I have ever purchased! Just bought my second one. It is definitely worth the money. The quality is excellent, there is no smell and it holds my rug in place.
