This Clock Sure Fills The Bill

I received my GLVSAE 12-Inch Non-Ticking Battery-Operated, Large, Easy to Read Wall Clock in pristine shape. It came with an AA-size battery and hook for wall hanging. I couldn't help but notice that the packaging was not only compact but quite sturdy; well-engineered, I would say.The description in the request for a review mentions a “Stereoscopic” Dial and Ultra-Quiet Quartz Movement. I'm not sure what they mean by “stereoscopic” here, but I can say that the numbers were raised, well-proportioned to the clock face, and they provide excellent contrast (black on white background.) For this reason, I think it'd be OK to say that they were 3-dimensional at least. Suffice it to say that the numbers are quite visible. The second-hand is also of good proportion. The clock, is, in fact, totally silent, at least to the extent I can measure the sound pressure level. I mounted the clock inside my sound-conditioned studio space on the wall facing me. More on this below.As to why I chose to buy this clock, there are a couple of reasons; sight and sound. These reasons apply because they have to do with the fact that I am a voice actor and audiobook narrator/producer. First, as a professional, keeping track of time is very important and this clock, with its highly visible second-hand, is very easy to see. Second, my microphone is very sensitive, even able to pick up sounds that I cannot hear with my “naked ear.” From a technical point of view, I must keep the ambient noise level in my recording studio space very low; between -60 and -65 decibels. The reading on this clock was below that.So, what's the takeaway here? I've only had the clock for a relatively short time, but I can say that the size, configuration, good visibility, and no-sound qualities completely fill the bill for my professional needs. Kudos to GLVSAE. On that basis, I can wholeheartedly recommend buying one.

Quality - comes w/non-stud hanger @ battery

This 12 inch is an excellent size for most medium size rooms. Very legible numerals plus it doesn’t have the brand name that is shown in the picture. It’s kind of a distraction and really doesn’t mean anything to anybody anyway. I ordered this for my skilled nursing facility room as it was missing a clock and this looks as good or better than anything they have. Plus from all of my research it seems like it is the only clock that comes with a hanging device plus the battery so you don’t have to spend extra money.
