Pretty but not super high quality as the price reflects.

Very pretty. I thought they would give a pretty shadow off the wall but apparently the sconces we have may be a tad bit too far from the wall. If it’s quite dark in the house you can see a bit of a shadow. Still they are really pretty, a bit goth/vintage and work well as candle holders. The gold paint on them isn’t giving “high end” and the metal is quite thin but if using on a shelf or wall where one isn’t looking super close up they are totally fine. Glass is thin so be careful with it. For this price it’s what I expected to receive though and am happy with them.

These candle holders have a cool gothic style. The size and material is as described in the product listing. It feels really lightweight. No assembly is required. The black paint overspray hits the gold accent pieces around the top, which matches the pictures in the listing so it must be intentional. The base stand piece attaches to the candle holding platform piece at a bit of an angle, so the candles aren't supported straightly. The candles will lean to one side all the time. That's something to be aware of, because if you're using real candles you'll have wax dripping toward one side. If you use LED candles, that won't be an issue. I like these and think they look nice in my room. If you like gothic candle holders at a reasonable price, this is a good option you might consider.

Gothic Candle Pillars

These Gothic candle pillars look expensive but are very budget-friendly. The base of the pillars is lightweight metal but sturdy enough to handle the candles. The glass hurricane fit snuggly over the candle and was low enough for the flickering flames. I like the Damask design that surrounds the pillars, and the black metal ties in the Gothic theme. Not worth the money

I'm rather quite puzzled by the positive reviews for this item. Maybe everyone received a different set of candle holders than me. The "metal" scroll detail surrounding the hurricane glass is just flimsy, bendable, soft metal. It arrived bent, and felt like it would break easily if reshaped. The scroll detail looks like it has a black wash in the photos, but the set I received was just gold. There was black at the bottom of the scroll detail, but just looked like black spray paint got on it because the painter forgot to cover it. The glass for the hurricane is very thin and fragile. Even though they are shipped in Styrofoam, one of the glass pieces broke. These might be cute if they were half the price, and I could work with some of the quality issues. But for what I paid, I expected a higher quality piece. These were returned.

Way way overpriced—dollar store quality 👎🏻

I’m extremely disappointed in the quality of these. This is definitely dollar store quality. Do not waste your money!!! The bases are lightweight, thin metal… the glass is very thin and doesn’t even have a bottom. They look tacky like cheap Halloween decorations. Worth $8 tops for both. They don’t even come with candles. If they were reasonably priced based on the quality I wouldn’t be so annoyed.
