Just what I was hoping for.

Love this rug. I bought it for my little office space so I wanted it to be on the thin side and to be able to lay flat since I would be using an office chair on it. Even though it has a non-slip backing I added double sided tape along the edges so I could easily vacuum and that worked amazing. The colors are so vibrant and deep. There is a fur like quality to the surface that is soft and makes you want to rub it. One of my cats did throw up a hair ball that I did not see until it had been there awhile and it cleaned up with a damp cloth in minutes. I have been using my office chair on it for about two weeks and there doesn't seem to be any abnormal wear or color fading in that area. This is just what I was hoping for and I got it on a black friday deal which just added to it being one of my best buys of the year..

My only regret is not ordering an even larger size and using it in my kitchen.Initially bought in a Black Friday whim, I debated between this and a totally different pattern and color scheme for our bedroom. The fact that is is washable was the selling factor but I really do love it.There was no off gassing period since there was not any off-putting smell. I simply opened it and will be able to use immediately without airing it out.It is washable so it is not a stiff area rug. So it is thinner than the typical rugs that you have to roll up to move.I could not be more pleased.

It's a lovely rug. The colors are really pretty and bright. The fabric is very soft but a bit thin. It took several months before the wrinkles eased out. It's pinned beneath my desk but I have noticed some sliding on the edges sometimes so if you're not using a rug gripper layer beneath it then you may need to be careful.
