Adorable sign that needs a little work
This Pastel Hello Spring porch sign is definitely cute and colorful, and the sisal rope hanger gives it a charming touch. It looks great whether it’s hanging or simply leaning against the house. The sign comes with all the tools needed for assembly, which I appreciated. It took me about an hour to get the seams and letters aligned properly. From a distance, the seams aren’t noticeable, but up close, you can see them a bit—nothing that ruins the look, but still worth mentioning. One thing to be aware of: the “wood” is actually pressed composite particle board. Because of that, I wouldn’t put this outside without sealing it first. Even on my covered porch, rain can blow in, and this material may not hold up to moisture. I will more than likely use a matte spray to protect it or keep it indoors. I have no issue with this type of material being used to make the sign because it is lighter weight and makes it easier to store. Outdoor use isn't a great idea.Overall, it’s a cute sign, but the assembly was more frustrating than expected. Compared to other signs I have seen that are similar and of lower quality, this sign is a great value and it's just so cute.
