The figurine is well made and painted with care.The measurements in the Amazon ad are inaccurate. The figurine measures 4 inches H by 2.13 inches W and weighs 4 ounces. I do not have a scale to verify the weight, but 4 ounces feels plausible when holding it. It is a beautiful piece, with a lot of detail, yet it requires very little space to display it. If I had to have one whine about this piece, it is that the piece does not have any sort of surface protection on the bottom of the figuring, but that is probably because the company name is on the bottom of the statue.Overall, the Veojein Mother With Son Figurine is small, yet meaningful decorative piece representing the mother and son bond. For the affordable price point, it is easy to display, and the wood carved look gives it a warm, handcrafted feel. It would make a thoughtful gift for aunts, mothers, grandmothers, God mothers, etc. My family member loved it. Five stars.

    Sweet and sentimental way to honor the mother and son relationship

    I got this for myself because it reminded me of me and my son when he was a little boy. It was much more economical than the more well known version of these figurines. It is a good size and you can clearly see the features and the detail. It isn't as high of quality as some brands but it's still looks nice and is a warm way to be sentimental. The only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is because it looks like it has an overall orange hue to it that I didn't expect. If the colors were more true to form I think this would look better and seem higher quality. It's still a sweet way to remember a time that went by too quickly.

    I was excited to see this figurine with the mother tenderly embracing her son who appears to be comforted by the security of her arms encircling him. This could also be very meaningful for anyone who works with children, which was where my thoughts first went as someone who works with disabled and autistic children. This piece is true to the style of similar figurines with soft muted colors and the emotion expressed through the position of the pair. The detail of his foot turning up just a bit as he presses into her shows especially well that he is seeking that closeness.It has a nice weight, a smooth flat bottom, and is very stable with a low center of gravity. The box is giftable. I examined it closely and found no flaws on this piece, even though the very best of this style usually have some minor flaws at least, so I’d give 5-½ stars if it were possible since the manufacturer really deserves an extra half-star for going above and beyond in terms of quality.The current price point is very reasonable for a piece of this quality, set at $17. This would make a touching gift for a mother or grandmother of a boy, or possibly someone who works closely with children.
