I used this product to keep stair pads from slipping. Used 3M spray glue and adhered product to bottom of stair carpet runners. Worked perfect. Now the pads don't move and are easy to pick up and clean.For the price - Product is excellent...

We put this under an 8 X 10 area rug from Crate and Barrel. It is a thick wool woven rug that slid around even under a coffee table. Amazing how such a thin substrate for $20 did the trick to prevent it from sliding. Arrived in a timely manner, well packaged.

The rug pad does the job for adding scratch protection between the rug and the floor and not allowing the rug to slide around. It does keep the rug in place. I bought. Larger size so I could use it for a small bedroom rug and a hallway runner and it’s working for both. I don’t find it adds any thickness to the cushion of the rugs. The reason for 3 stars is the smell the pad had. It’s been about a week since putting it down and the chemical odor is still noticeable even after opening windows and airing it out on multiple days. I have purchased non-slip rug pads before from Ocean State Job Lot that have not had this smell and I would not buy this rug pad again.
I GOT THIS SO THAT MY BED WOULD STAY PUT. IT WORKS WELL AND KEEPS IT FROM SLIDING ACROSS THE WOOD FLOOR. EASY TO CUT TO THE SIZE YOU NEED. AND IT LAYS FLAT.
