Great blackout at a great price
I got a window ac and cardboard is just not a good look. Now to be fair, I put these black out sheets under another pair of curtains and over the cardboard. It works wonders. I couldnt see when I turned off the lights. Easiest install ever. The fabric sticks to itself, I recommend keeping it stuck together and doing math to cut the sheets to correct length without unfolding it. Easy to put up. Adhesive holds well. Huge piece of fabric for a great price of only 23 bucks.

Great to block sunlight
Bought this twice already. Perfect for my kids to nap and go to sleep at the same time everyday no matter the season. I live in Arizona where the sun is very bright and sunny for pretty much all year. Worst the summer for very long hours of light. This make my rooms so much darker especially so you can keep sleeping when the sun is up by 5 am. Perfect to cut for the size of any window. It doesn’t smell or damaged easily. It is lightweight but let no sunlight at all. The tricky part is the glue. You can use the stripes they come with if you want to remove but here it’s so hot that the glue does not hold so I had to buy double sided tape resistant to weather to keep it in place. The silver side reflect the heat out of the room and helps my cooler to keep the room fresh. Great purchase!

QUALITY BLACKOUT CURTAINS FOR TEMP PURPOSES
I used this all throughout the year in an apartment where I had direct sunlight to my room. It kept my room PITCH BLACK! It is an easy setup, however it does have a funky smell. Please be careful when applying this to your walls, I wasn't careful enough and accidentally ripped off some paint upon moving out.I also will mention it did make my room boiling at times during the with the heat on.

DO NOT USE AS DIRECTED!
Do your research - you MUST NOT sick these TO any double-paned window! I still recommend these shades, but NOT for use as directed. Here's the problem: they can ruin the seals on your windows - days, weeks or months later your window will start fogging up. I read about this problem on line, and I even called a window manufacturing plant near us. The defective material over heats up your window too much, and can weaken the seal, causing it to fail at a later date. NO ONE in the window industry recommends sticking these to windows. HERE'S HOW TO USE THESE: We still wanted to prevent bright sun from coming in, so we strung a piece of string a few inches from the window and bought little clothes line clamps to hang the material down a few inches away from the window, leaving an air space. Then we took the material down in the morning, and put it back up at night, so that the sunshine all day was not still being bounced back to the window. They did not function as black-out shades that way, but they did darken the room and prevent direct sun from hitting the bed in the morning, so we were very happy with the effect. Rig the material up so that there is several inches of air space between the material and your window, take the material down as soon as you wake up, and it works great. Further suggestions: ALL AIR B&B and VBRO owners with windows that are not shaded should forbid this material. Use it wisely, and you will be happy. This material should NOT be sold as a product to stick TO the window!!

Window Blackout Screen
I bought to Blackout a Skylight Window right above my bed. Perfect! This is a lightweight "fabric" material, easy to unroll and install. Trust me, it blocks out the sunlight! To install, comes with the Blackout screen, "gummy" glue pads, a mini tailors measuring tape to cut your fabric to size, and alcohol pads to clean the surface areas. Very, very easy to install, with plenty of fabric material and "gummy" glue pads for several windows. (I installed my Gummy Glue directly on the window.) When your done and if you need to remove the blackout, I feel confident you can remove your blackout without stripping the painted wall. I highly recommend this product for blocking / blackout of your windows!

Review for Blackout Curtains, 118" x 57" Shades
Topic: Review for Blackout Curtains, 118" x 57" Shades4..0 Scale- Overall: ~C+ Grade. Above Average. Operability an A; Size/Length ~D+--A grade for blackout. Keeps room dark - highly satisfactory (SAT) and preferred. This is great, no issues.--A grade - price (SAT)--D grade in terms of the length and height. Although, I purchased the largest blackout shade available, for the average apartment bedroom window, either the shade length or height (either way you put it on the window) it will not completely cover the window (too short), allowing some light to come in the room. Just have to settle. (UNSAT)
