Pretty tealights that are versatile with a subtle scent.

There is something extra special about having lots of tealight candles light up a room at night, especially as the colder months come along. Adding tealights to small glasses, decorative ceramic Christmas houses, or wrought iron figurines make evenings enjoyable as you enjoy a film with a glass of red and a bowl of popcorn. In fact, every year I watch a classic Dracula film on Halloween before I hit the sack, and I must have dozens of tealight candles lit as I watch the celebrated holiday staple. That's why I ordered these Lavender Scented Tealight Candles by simeitol.Tea lights don’t usually have a strong scent, but I did like the scent they gave. I had to deduct a star from the total because of how little fragrance emitted from the tealights hit my nose. Nevertheless, lavender scent does have a calming effect. Since they’re made of palm wax, they burn cleanly, no soot. That’s a big plus for me and the long burn time is a good indication of the quality of the candles. Coming in a pack of 14, I can burn them solo or in a cluster for more light and scent. These fit in just about any tealight-friendly container, so there's no worry about being unpleasantly surprised by having to burn them w/o a container.I do wonder how the manufacturer justifies the price of these, though; it may be due to the wax quality. The fact that I am questioning their cost for value ratio is something that doesn't inspire confidence. In any case, I'm used to paying less for tealights like this. I still can say that I am a mostly satisfied customer and think they aren't grossly overpriced.

These smell absolutely heavenly!

These tea light candles, smell absolutely wonderful. You can smell them before you even open the box that they are enclosed in. The candle wax itself comes in a clear container, giving it a much more classy looking tea light candles, opposed to the ones that come in the silver aluminum containers. They burn well and give off a wonderful vanilla scent. Very pleased!

Great value for price, just wrong scent

I received these, but the scent was raspberry, (supposed to be lavender) which my asthma won't let me burn. These had a strong smell, but my granddaughter loved them, so I gave them to her for her patio. They are a great value for money and burned for about 5-6 hours. Would recommend, just wished the scent was the right one!
