I didn't realize that it lights up

This is really very cute! I didn't realize that it had a switch in the bottom that allowed it to light up. If that's your thing then it's a bonus. You do not have to use the lights at all to have a pretty angel sitting on a shelf. I got this for one of the women at work who is heavily into angels and I thought she would like it. I was right! She was thrilled! I got the more neutral peachy pink color as I thought it was prettier.
