Multiple ways to use it. Showcase your work.

The shelves are the natural color that you see in the photos. Very light weight.The sides are the perfect size to hold the shelves up and they have the sturdy hardware inside of the actual wood. This helps it stay sturdy when adding or removing items from the shelves.In the picture I showed an 8oz plastic canister with glass beads because that it was I will be placing on the shelves. They fit perfectly and because there is a small lip they will not slide off. It comes with a bar that goes across the front to secure taller things (if you wanted to use them as book shelves). I wont be using the bar because I want to be able to see my beads without obstruction.Cute, light weight, versatile, value. They could easily be painted but the natural color looks great in any room.

Perfect for a budding reader.

My littlest is just learning to read, so she's been keeping all her favorite books with her at bedtime. I needed something to help contain the chaos and jazz up her room. In came these adorable bookshelves. I picked them up thinking they were the perfect size for her to leave a few books next to her bed. However, when I unboxed them, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice they are. These bookshelves are made of really nice, quality wood. This is not cheap particle board (which I was kind of expecting), but solid, real wood. I got the raw wood version, and they are sanded beautifully, like SO smooth. I cannot wait to get these on her wall!I am not new to putting things together and installing them into walls, so I know when something is going to be a pain and when it's going to be a breeze. These are going to be a 10 to 15 minute max install job. The instructions are pretty bare bones, but honestly, that's really all you need so I think they do more than an adequate job of directing you. Even more important, the company put in a small level, and seeing as how mine just broke, I am VERY pleased with that addition. The hardware seems like great quality and there's plenty of all pieces. Just a note, but you DO have to assemble the shelves yourself (see pic attached). However, like I said earlier, it's very simple. Once put together, they'll each store four or five books (maybe more depending on how you'd like to display them) which is exactly what I was looking for. They're the perfect size for a little girl looking to store her most treasured books next to her at nighttime. I think these will last and look amazing for a really long time to come. Very, very pleased with these bookshelves!
