These magnetic curtain rod holders are working great to hold my curtain in place on my door. I used to have a blind hanging there that would rattle and bang and now I have a nice curtain that is secure on the top and bottom with these magnetic curtain rod holders. I was able to install these in seconds and they are very sturdy and do not move once in place.
Purchased this to replace cheap broken rods with weak magnets that couldn’t support new heavy room darkening curtains. Firmly supports 2 curtains on a steel door that is being opened and closed often. These magnets are 1/3 the size of the ones they replaced, yet firmly hold more than 2X the weight. Easily adjustable, look great since the magnets are so small they’re nearly invisible. Works perfectly, definitely worth the price.
I put these on the door and they're holding well. The door is our primary front door, so it sees regular usage. They're supporting a medium weight pair of curtains. They don't budge, fall apart, or bend under the weight of the curtains.... and I have them extended at least to 24". I am very satisfied.
Super strong magnets, easy assembly, works perfectly holding a curtain up on the door. The center where the two pieces meet to adjust the width is a bit flimsy but I just took one little piece of clear packaging tape and secured them together to stay in place. Don’t listen to the snarky comments because this is worth the price and a heck of a lot easier than putting screws and holes in a metal door.
10/10!!!!! I’ve bought so many other magnetic curtain rods over the years and these are the only ones you need. The others had MUCH weaker magnets that would actually fall out and they were just crap. But these…THESE!!!!Put them in your cart and buy them…Now.
Great for covering a window on an exterior door. The ends come off so I glued mine on because they adjust in the middle anyway.

However, their utility is strictly limited to these lighter applications and exposed metal surfaces.A personal account details purchasing a set of two rods, advertised as 5 feet in length, for approximately $20. While the actual length was close, it proved slightly short for the intended use of hanging curtains over the metal bars of a loft bed. On the solid metal sections of the bed frame, the magnets successfully held the curtains. However, the top railing was discovered to be hollow and composed of mixed metals, which significantly hampered the magnets' ability to support the curtains' weight. When attempting to draw the curtains across, the bar dislodged, and one side came loose. This further reinforces the product's inability to perform reliably on non-solid or mixed-metal surfaces, even if visible.
