I bought this item to keep some items from our dog after he passed. It is really well made and very nice to look at. It was deep enough that I could put his favorite tennis ball inside.
Had been looking for months for the exactly right container to display the bridal bouquet I had preserved!! Everything I could find was too small, too heavy, too bulky, and most were way too expensive! It had to be a nice display container, not cheap looking, and sturdy, and fit the taste of the bride...and this was it! The paperwork enclosed explained how to hang it on the wall safely and there were hangers included. Some push pins also came with it. Have nearly finished the flowers... looks great so far!
This is a great shadow box for outdoor use. We have this placed in our backyard near our son’s tree. I did spray a waterproof protective overlay on the wood so it would hold up well in case it rains.There’s a nice lined cushion inside the box.The latch hook works well to keep the box closed. It is very sturdy and well made.The shadow box is large enough to hold the cement heart stone that we created with our son. I really love it and I am glad that we ordered it.
Wife is using it to display the wedding. Bouquet and small items. Going up on the wall this week, but overall is a good item. Solid construction and good locking mechanism. Does what it should without any complaint or issue.
Beautiful. Wish I could give it 5 stars, however the push pins are too long for the box, so you have to angle them and they tend to fall out. The box is high quality though and I love how my project turned out.
***I have now ordered 3 of these in various sizes, I am using them all for dog memorials, but there’s so many things that they could be used for, I highly recommend them.I have been meaning to get around to making this for a couple years now, a family friend wanted me to put together one for his dog and got the ball rolling.This was the best value for a shadow box that was a decent depth that I found. I originally ordered the 8x10, because I failed to read the inner dimensions and assumed would be big enough to fit the 8 inch plaque I planned to put inside. Luckily there’s plenty of sizes to find a good fit for your needs, the 12x12 was perfect.I had adhesive that needed a really good surface to securely attach the plaque so I modified the back of the interior by gluing an acrylic sheet to the fabric backing, the acrylic sheet I had didn’t cover the whole thing and the fabric color matched it closely, by the time I finished adding flowers and the collar, the fabric no longer shows. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
Very well made. Perfect size for my need.
