I originally got this for my mother-in-law's birthday, completely forgot to give it to her (gave her something else instead like the organized person I am), and now it's magically a Christmas present. Planning ahead.This little jar is WAY smaller than I expected, but that's probably on me for not checking dimensions, but it's actually kind of perfect for sitting on a nightstand or desk without taking up a bunch of room. It's cute, comes nicely packaged, and feels thoughtful without being over-the-top.Here's the REAL selling point though (in our case anyway): the text on these little paper strips is actually pretty big. My mother-in-law is vision impaired, and I was worried the verses would be printed in that tiny font. Actually, when I first opened it, I didn't think there was anything written on it at all. I started to panic thinking I was going to have to find the bible verses and print them on there myself. Luckily, you just have to open the folded piece of paper and the verse is written on there.The print is clear and large enough that she can actually read them without struggling, which makes this gift actually usable instead of just decorative.There are 92 verses in there covering different moods and situations (happy, anxious, lonely, sad, angry, thankful), so it's a nice little pick-me-up jar when you need a dose of encouragement. The cork lid is a nice touch too – keeps everything contained and adds to the aesthetic.Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a thoughtful, faith-based gift that's actually accessible for people with vision challenges. And if you forget to give it to them on the intended occasion? Well, there's always another holiday around the corner.

Pros are the font isn't teeny tiny, which was one of my major concerns. The packaging - oh my, the packaging is done so well, as though the company did it with tender love and care. This a a wonderful little jar is filled with the treasure of God's word. It's a great gift item for a Christian or for personal use. Since the label says "Thank You", as well as the sticker on the box, it's designed to be a thank you gift, but doesn't have to be. It would be a nice gift for pastor appreciation month. The verses are color coded according to 6 emotions so you can choose one that fits your need for the day. This is very helpful for memorization. The only negative is that the slips of paper could wear out if someone uses them over and over, but there's so many verses this is unlikely to happen.
