Big Texture, Neutral Style -- A Boho Piece That Plays Well With Other Decor
Sometimes you want to add something to a wall without introducing more color or a strong design motif. I hung this large macrame piece above a bed where the wall needed something, but I didn’t want artwork that would push the room in a new direction.This wall hanging works well for that purpose. It adds a lot of texture and visual interest while keeping a soft, neutral palette. Even though macrame leans bohemian, the neutral color allows it to blend nicely with other styles. In my case, it’s in a fairly traditional/transitional room and still looks right at home.The size is another plus. At 43" wide, it fills a large wall space effectively and looks especially nice centered over a bed or wide piece of furniture. It makes a statement without feeling loud -- and without being expensive. Thanks, Amazon!My only real wish is that the hanging rod were a little more finished. It’s simply an unfinished wooden dowel, which works functionally but doesn’t look quite as polished as the macrame itself. It was easy to hang, but would look better if you hang it from a hook and not just a screw or nail like I did. (The wall hanging comes with adhesive hooks and mounting hardware.)Overall, this is a simple but attractive wall accent that works well if you want to add texture and warmth without committing to bold artwork. It’s especially good for larger wall spaces where you want something substantial but still neutral.

Beautiful macrame work, but pole could be better
I'm a big fan of macrame work and this piece is really beautiful. When I placed my order, there were multiple style options and I had such a hard time deciding because they all looked incredible. I love all the details in this piece and I was really impressed with the overall size. It came packaged with the entire piece bunched together and each individual section zip tied. The pole came in three sections that had to be screwed together so it did require a little bit of "assembly." Unfortunately, my order didn't come with anything in the box other than the wall hang itself...no instructions whatsoever. So I did have to go back to Amazon to look at pictures and then do my best to separate the strands. All in all the assembly was fairly easy but a little tedious.My only real problem with this piece was with the wood pole. First, when I screwed the pieces together it wasn't completely flush. Luckily this was able to be hidden by the macrame piece itself once everything was spread out. My bigger problem though, was that the wood was split at the end of one section. Having said that, it doesn't take away from how beautiful this piece is and I'm still really happy with it...but it is why I removed a star. I think the $30 price point is fair for something this size and if you're looking to add a little boho chic to your decor then I would recommend this piece. (Please ignore the beat up wall that needs to be patched and painted before it gets hung for good, but I wanted get a photo of the finished product.)

added flair to backyard gazebo
ok we wanted to create a soothing atmosphere for gazebo where the family can share moments specially on weekends. adding this hanging boho tapestry really is in point with what i intended. perfect this spring and summer! we find ourselves finding more time to hangout under the gazebo when we get the chance. nice!
