Well-packaged and nice-looking, but have a faint smoke smell

These beeswax votives have a nice neutral look and came packaged giftably (each candle individually wrapped in paper, each in its own section). When burned, they don’t give off visible smoke that I saw, but I did notice a subtle cigarette-like smell when using them in a small space. It was noticeable enough that at first I thought some neighbor’s cigarette smoke was leaking into my place, as sometimes happens with other smells. However, I could only smell it in rooms I moved the candle to, and it went away when the candle was extinguished, so I’m pretty sure it was in fact the candle. I’ve never had that experience with any other candle, including other beeswax ones, so I’m not sure what would cause it. The cream white color also smells (when not lit) more waxy than honey-like, especially compared to a set of yellow beeswax tea lights I have from another brand, but maybe that's normal for white vs. yellow beeswax? Overall, these are decent, but I’m not sure I’d favor this brand over any other brand.

These bee's wax votive candles are beautiful and they do not melt easily. They were derived on a day over 100 degrees at my house and arrived in perfect condition! Great set of candles are individually wrapped in paper and undamaged. Really beautiful set and the scent is super mild sweet. They burn clean and smokeless.

These are beautiful votives! I am so glad I took a chance on the white variety ... they are a stunning hue of warm, creamy white. Full-sized ... or a standard votive size, I should say, with a slightly flanged top. I have gotten a few sets of votives over the last six months that while they are sold as votives (and therefore I feel I am right in expecting a candle that is a votive size), they are much smaller than anticipated, which disappoints. These do NOT disappoint. Pure beeswax with cotton wicks (and an aluminum wick holder --- no plastic!) make for a lovely candle. They burn beautifully and smokeless ... and nothing is better than the scent of warm beeswax. I am keeping this company bookmarked as beeswax candles make perfect hostess gifts. These were packaged impeccably in a tastefully designed box with cardboard dividers to protect the individually wrapped-in-kraft-paper candles. Well done.
