I bought this for my daughter to give to her favorite teacher, as this is her last year at this school. This is one of the nicer plaques I've purchased. I don't really love the glass style ones, as they feel & look cheaper. But this metal one, has a decent weight to it, and just feels & looks better, in my opinion.It's small enough that it won't take up too much space on a desk or shelf, which means the receiver is more likely to sit it out. I think the big ones are harder to find a place for, especially if they have a full desk &get other items regularly. It's also not too small. You can clearly read what's etched on it. I also like that it can go with pretty much any decor or theme. I'm excited I found this, and my daughter is looking forward to gifting it.I hope my experience and pictures help give you an idea of what to expect in person, or helps you in some way.
